Ignite Your Passion
When you look up the meaning of the word Passion, you will find the following:
A strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something.
That makes so much sense to me, as my passion definitely shines through when helping women or couples to first recognise their passion for themselves and then in their relationships. You need to ignite passion in every aspect of your life. It is the spark that makes you feel excited and fun. We forget that we are every part of us, be it the six-year-old that loved getting birthday gifts, the child in us who loved playing games or the young adult that loved to dress up and enjoyed dancing. We forget that we can be all that, because we are all that.
Igniting your passion starts with you.
Many ladies out there don’t even know who they are anymore, especially after becoming moms. Most of their time and energy go into mom duties and there is nothing left for themselves; they feel their identity is misplaced and forgotten. They need to find their passion to find their sexy. Ladies, you need to take back your power and do things that make you feel like a woman again.
- Start taking care of how you feel and look.
- Self-care routines and self-love sessions.
- Honor those non-negotiables that make you feel good. My non-negotiable is indulging in a full body massage once a month.
- Get your confidence by joining classes like kickboxing, yoga or painting.
- Dress up and do something fun with your girlfriends.
After finding yourself, you would start to ignite the passion in your relationship and in the bedroom. How will you know it’s working? You will feel like you are walking on clouds and see your life in HD. It takes time so be patient with yourself. Don’t feel that it happens overnight. It will always be a work in progress, but the adventure and fun along the way makes it that much more exciting.
Once you have found a passion for who you are, then you get to find your purpose in life too. It is what makes you wake up before your alarm, kiss passionately and dream bigger than you ever have before.
You are a passionate person and sometimes you just need to be reminded to find your passion again, as it might just be hidden under all those layers of self-doubt, limiting beliefs, society recommendations, anger or comfort. We need to peel back these layers to find ourselves and our passion, so we can be set free and live the life we are meant to live.
Once you do this, your confidence will be released and you will feel worthy of love and giving love.
Remember that there is no passion in playing small. Aim for a higher kind of love that won’t make you settle for less. You are worthy of the love and passion that you deserve.
