Chicken and Prawn Paella
Ingredients:
- 100g butter
- 400g chicken, sliced
- 12 prawns (add more if you desire)
- 3 heaped tsp Seafood Paste
- 1 punnet of chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red pepper, sliced
- 2 cups uncooked pasta rice (orzo)
Method:
- Cook pasta rice in salted water and 2 tbsp oil.
- In a separate pan, melt butter.
- Add chicken and seafood paste- mix to coat the chicken. Fry for a few min.
- Toss the prawns & cook for 2min.
- Add mushrooms and peppers, allow to cook for 1min.
- Drain pasta rice and add to the pan. Mix until well coated and allow to infuse.
- Garnish with parsley.
