Chicken and Prawn Paella

Ingredients:

  • 100g butter
  • 400g chicken, sliced
  • 12 prawns (add more if you desire)
  • 3 heaped tsp Seafood Paste
  • 1 punnet of chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta rice (orzo)

Method:

  1. Cook pasta rice in salted water and 2 tbsp oil.
  2. In a separate pan, melt butter.
  3. Add chicken and seafood paste- mix to coat the chicken. Fry for a few min.
  4. Toss the prawns & cook for 2min.
  5. Add mushrooms and peppers, allow to cook for 1min.
  6. Drain pasta rice and add to the pan. Mix until well coated and allow to infuse.
  7. Garnish with parsley.
